A pest inspection is a form of inspection that specifically looks for the presence of or damage from household pests that are common to a particular area. For instance, in the southern United States, a termite inspection is a form of pest inspection that looks for termites and termite damage, performed by a pest inspector with specialization in that pest. In other areas, a pest inspection may look for different rodents or wood-damaging insects depending on threats and risks local to the property.
