A general contractor inspector is a general contractor who is qualified to perform a general home inspection, covering the structure, systems, and surroundings of a home and property. A general contractor inspector should be a trusted, independent third party with no stake in the outcome of the transaction, and they are a crucial resource for a buyer to review the quality of the home and property they're buying. In some areas, this role is performed by a home inspector (who is not a general contractor in most cases).
