Finalized (referring to a contract)
A contract is said to be finalized when all required parties (buyer, seller, and any required witnesses) have signed it. This generally refers to the date (also known as a ratification or acceptance date) a homebuying contract goes into effect and upon which all other dates and periods in the contract are based.
